“Dead Ends” is created from warp waste and dead threads collected from studio floor. The Styrofoam shelf is from the “Free Store,” an interactive ongoing art project developed by artist Gaye Chan. I feel that these threads have a consciousness that desires to become something more than trash. The remaining threads will be used in future weavings.
